Wired! Fellow
Class of 2016 | Major in Political Science, Minor in Visual and Media Studies, Certificate in Philosophy, Politics, & Economics

My name is Julia and I’m a senior studying Political Science with a PPE certificate and minor in Visual and Media Studies. My projects as a Wired! Fellow have focused on studying and virtually representing clothing for the Visualizing Venice Virtual World as well as compiling aggregate data on lay confraternities in early modern Venice. Most recently, I worked with a team to digitally reconstruct, render, and animate the Nani Palace on the Giudecca Island of Venice. Another project I have worked on in the past is the Operating Archives initiative with the aim of digitizing anatomical models and fugitive sheets for greater accessibility of educational artifacts to the public.
